Dylan Sports Update

The chances are good if you are reading this blog, you already know about Dylan's obsession with sports. ALL sports. He loves baseball the most but football, basketball, and soccer also get notable attention and their fair share of play time.

This summer was shaping up to be bit different from the last two however. In the past spring was for baseball and late summer brought out the pigskin and flag football. This time he actually considered playing fall baseball and skipping football. At first I was a little shocked since I just expected a typical repeat, but this year I realized just how much the kid loves baseball. I don't know too many seven year old children that can name most of the players for the Texas Rangers, NY Yankees, Boston Red Sox, and the Chicago White Sox. At any rate we were fairly disappointed to find that Fall ball in the surrounding burbs was not going to happen due to the lack of enough participants.

So, Dylan's baseball dreams will just have to wait another season. For now the gridiron will have to do.
